CTRS - CVSTOS
More photos
The "Concept S" range from Cvstos corresponds to a line one might well describe as "extreme". To earn the "S" logo, each timepiece must offer a technical horological solution that is strictly no- compromise. After the RMT-S minute-repeater, here therefore is the CTR-S split-second tourbillon chronograph. Generally, the chronograph function is added to a movement that gives the time. In the case of the CTR-S, indication of the time has been grafted onto a split-second chronograph movement in order to highlight the chronograph as the model's primary function. This idea has been pushed to an extreme with a chronograph with a coupling. That is to say, there is no clip to brake the chronograph wheel when it is stationary, which causes loss of energy and therefore precision. The wheels turn and are only "braked" when necessary. Cvstos has placed the chronograph movement at the front of the timepiece so that everyone can admire the mechanism directly on the wrist. Here the tourbillon is a flying one, which means that there is no mechanical link between the movement plate and the tourbillon cage made of Ergal. A real feat, especially since this tourbillon, like all those in the Concept-S range, is shockproof. Reading the time, here of secondary importance, is reduced to an indicator at 12 o'clock. The counters, as well as the outsize push-buttons on which the functions are noted, further enhance the timepiece's extreme personality. Titanium and Ergal case. Self-winding mechanical movement. 8-day power reserve. Water-resistant to 100 m. |
